You’ll find yourself projected in a past time atmosphere while walking through the garden and the terrace, the Italian garden, or while taking a glance at the furniture and the original objects belonging to the XVII and XVIII century. You’ll happen to catch a glance of the beautiful corners of the Villa like the study hall with its library rich with rare books, the majestic Sala degli Arazzi (Tapestries Room) with its beautiful tapestries and home for the most unforgettable dance parties, the Sala delle Bambole (Dolls’ Room) or the Sala da Pranzo(the Old Dining Room) where James Ivory shot several scenes of A Room with a View. The guided tours of the Villa can be coupled with the visit to the property’s olive mill and are followed by Maiano’s extra virgin olive oil tasting.
